Sticking to Reality rather than a Dream

My boyfriend and I have been together for the past 4 years. When he asked me to marry him, I didn't even think twice of saying yes. It was really my dream to become his wife and carry his name for the rest of my life. Fortunately, God has made that dream come true. 2 years after we got married, I gave birth to our first child. He gave additional color to our life and from that day, I could say that I am the luckiest woman on earth to have them both in my life. Years passed and slowly there were problems that came in, unfortunately, some of them were not solved together as husband and wife. My husband was starting to be distant from me and I had no clue on why this has to happen. After 15 years of being together, he realized he wanted to have his life back where he gets to enjoy time alone. I knew from those lines, that he fell out of love for me. I opted to live separately from him and I have my son with me. However, single parent rights should be considered when thinking of such actions. I consulted a lawyer and asked for some advice regarding my wish to live separately with him. I guess a dream does not only end when you wake up, it is also intended to end even in reality.
