People get exited when they first get married but when they gain more years in the marriage the excitement wears off. I do not know why this happens, I have seen my parents relate and as much as they have been through some rough patches just like any other couple, they are still in love with each other and that is what matters. My father told me that what has kept them happy after all these years is the fact that they did not change who they were when they got married, they maintained it all. The communicated all the time and talked about anything and everything. I could say this is what has also made my marriage work. Met my wife in college and we became very good friends and never ceased to be friends. When we are at work we chat via Facebook and one thing I like about her is when I have made her day, she makes an update Facebook profile status. She has always been proud of me and whenever I am under the weather she has a special way of making me happy. |

There are so many social sites which are coming up nowadays that are meant to bring people close together. The Friends Reunited site is meant to reunite friends who have not seen each other for a long time and need to catch up on different things. The site was put in place specifically for this purpose and is now having over one million accounts. The site has however been abused by people who are seeking for their long time enemies to revenge online. This has caused trouble for the owner of this site because they have not been able to come up with a tangible solution. People have now been given the authority to cancel Friends Reunited accounts when they experience such trouble so that they can be able to avoid it. It is so bad to see that people are taking advantage of the good things in life and making them serve to their own advantage, which is very disappointing. Now many accounts have been closed but the company is still hoping to find a better solution to prevent this from happening again. |

Social sites are very interesting places to be in, is what my father kept on telling me every time I would call him from my dormitory in college. He has been a single father half of my life and he has never embarked on any serious dating escapades, not that I know of anyway. He joined myspace because he wanted to be able to talk to more potently. When he joined he saw profiles of his former high school mates and that is when he decided to look up his high school sweetheart. He did not expect to actually find her but he did. They would chat through myspace for long hours and this one time he called me and asked how do i center pictures on myspace. I asked him why he wanted to do that and he said that he wanted to impress her and he also wanted to show her a picture of me and him together. So I told him in the text box, he would have to center the link and then on both ends indicate center on both ends. |

Having contacts numbers of different people is very useful to one cause you are able to call the people and make a conversation with them. That is the reason of one buying a cell phone. We buy cell phones so that we can communicate to our friends and families and also we use them at work. For a phone to be complete it has to have contact numbers of different people cause that is in the first place that made one have the phone. The other features are just luxuries that one does when they are free but then even at times you may find yourself not even using the features because you are ever busy but what you will not miss not using, is making a call. In case of any emergency case there are specific numbers that one has to call and which they are free. Also if you need a customer care support, you can make call free to their center. Facebook is a social site in which people join to network. They have a facebook help contact number which is meant for the users. Anyone with a problem then they use this number to seek for help. |

L.S. Lowry is a 20th Century English artist with a unique and distinctive style that totally evokes the drudge of Salford's industrial past. His backdrop of brooding, large brick warehouses, grey skies and smoking chimney stacks convey the grime of everyday life for the working man. His people are oddly formed and often called "matchstick men" they rush about in the foreground, caught up in their thoughts and emotions. His industrial paintings are busy, brooding and dirty, they make the viewer thankful that he is no longer caught up in such a world.
A contemporary artist that I admire - and think has striking similarities to Lowry in that he is commenting on everyday life - is none other than our graffiti friend, Banksy. I have collected a number of Banksy prints and permitted my walls to be covered in graffiti (via canvas art prints at least!) - social commentary through art is what I call it. |
